A serious board built for serious waves. A lot of volume up the front third of the board with a narrow fined out tail to hold the board's line in the barrel. This board is like a 6'10" to 7' gun built into a 6'6". The diminishing stringer works together with the tapered carbon kevlar rail lap to direct the energy and flex out through the tail. The flextail has a negative rocker built into it. This holds and stores energy when loaded, giving the board vastly increased drive and top end speed.

This was Jed’s personal board built for Jeffrey’s Bay, for 6-8 foot days. It was used over a period of three weeks. It was set up as a fin tester and can be ridden as a thruster, quad, twin fin or split keel.

From Jed: ‘On the big days I used it as a thruster and it felt insane. No hang ups, just easy and predictable like a gun should be. The quad set up would feel much the same just a bit freer (I didn’t get to ride it as a quad). On the smaller days I tried it as a twin but it was a little restricted with moments of brilliance. I tried it as a split keel which was fast, loose and fun. The board has a small ding on the bottom from the keyhole which i’ve fixed, very few footprints, 9/10 condition.’
